Reading: i know why the caged bird sings by maya angelou
sometimes i want to punch my mother in the face. she doesn't seem to understand the fact that i am a teenager and, naturally, i look at pornographic material. she seems to think she has the right to call it disgusting when i know how many porno books SHE owns, while i own two. two fucking books, with like, two sex scenes in each one. her books have like twenty sex scenes in each one and are VERY descriptive. she also owns over twenty of them. of course, hers ARE written books, while mine are graphic novels, AND my porn is gay while hers is straight, but still. she acts like she supports gay people, but she is homophobic as fuck and, again, thinks that a teenager looking at DRAWINGS, fucking DRAWINGS of porn is wrong. i know plenty of my friends that watch live action porn videos, but i guess that would be considered unnatural to her, too.
anyway, i just felt the need to rant because whenever she brings it up, i get seriously pissed off, and then my dad's all, "looks like there's a fine line, and you've crossed it hurr durr." HELLO, I'M A FUCKING TEENAGER. yes, i'm touchy. i'm also pms-ing, so that should add to my pissy-ness.
anyway, i'm just tired of all the shit i get from my mother for looking at porn when she's no better. at least i'm at the age where experimenting with your sexuality is expected, she's at the age where she actually has access to sex, so maybe she should stop buying her dirty romance novels and fucking get some.
